Website redesign for an insurance company

We carried out a comprehensive redesign of a website for a client from the insurance sector. The aim was not only to refresh the visual layer, but above all to optimize purchasing processes, adapt the website to accessibility standards (WCAG), and improve the user experience.

About the project

The client wanted to create a modern, user-friendly website that would stand out from the competition with its simplicity and clarity. The project was completed at a very fast pace—after just 8 weeks, it was a complete success, both from a business and technological perspective.

Main objective:

To create a fully accessible website that complies with WCAG standards and achieve a minimum 10% increase in conversions in the online insurance purchase process.

  • 01.
    Increase in policy sales
  • 02.
Streamlining the purchasing processes for four insurance products
  • 03.
    Improving overall usability and UX
  • 04.
Adapting the website to the needs of people with disabilities

What was the process like?

The project was planned and carried out in an agile manner, with the full involvement of the agency team, the client, and an external software house. The stages of work were as follows:

STEP 1

Website analysis and diagnosis – user path research (Google Analytics, Hotjar), identification of bottlenecks

STEP 2

Workshops with the client – jointly setting priorities and goals and choosing the visual direction of the project

STEP 3

UX Design – iterative work, with regular meetings (twice a week), ongoing testing and prototyping

STEP 4

WCAG audit and implementation of changes in the field of digital accessibility

STEP 5

UI Design – creating a unique visual layer that emphasizes the brand’s character and distinguishes it from the competition, while maintaining usability and consistency with UX.

STEP 6

Development implementation – efficient cooperation with the customer’s technical team

STEP 7

WCAG re-audit – confirmation of compliance with accessibility guidelines after implementation

Key elements of success:

  • We focused on partnership and open communication
From the very beginning, we felt that we were working towards the same goal as our client. Clearly defined expectations, trust in our experience, and commitment on both sides ensured that every stage—from UX, through UI, to development—went smoothly and without unnecessary downtime.
  • We worked as one team
Together with the client and the software house, we created a well-coordinated, interdisciplinary team. This allowed us to respond quickly, make the right decisions, and implement changes where they were needed.
  • We relied on data and proven standards
All design decisions were made based on real user needs, market analysis, and recognized sources such as the Baymard Institute. We combined data with practice to create solutions that were not only aesthetic but, above all, effective.

Result

SUCESS #1

Timely delivery at a dynamic pace
We completed the entire project—from kickoff to final implementation—in just eight weeks. Thanks to good work organization and close cooperation with the client, we were able to deliver a ready-to-use, fully functional service on schedule.

SUCESS #2

Full compliance with accessibility requirements (WCAG)
The UX architecture we designed and the technological solutions we implemented meet WCAG standards, ensuring full accessibility of the website for users with different needs. Accessibility was an integral part of quality for us – not an add-on.

SUCESS #3

Long-term value and customer satisfaction
The new version of the website not only meets current business needs, but also strengthens the brand’s digital identity. The client’s team appreciated both the cooperation process and the final results, which resulted in plans for further long-term cooperation.

The project was an example of exemplary cooperation – based on a clearly defined goal, mutual trust, and high commitment on both sides. Thanks to this, we were able to not only deliver an accessible service compliant with WCAG guidelines, but also significantly improve the purchasing process and increase the conversion rate.
